Sparkdos (Pip) is a multi-award-winning Australian cosplayer who has been creating costumes since 2017 and competing almost as long.
Entirely self-taught, Sparkdos has developed skills across sewing, pattern alteration and drafting, wig making, prop construction, scriptwriting and skit production. Her favourite builds include Midna from The Legend of Zelda, Impa from Hyrule Warriors, White Queen from Alice in Wonderland and Ciri from The Witcher.
A passionate competitor, Sparkdos has earned numerous awards throughout her cosplay journey, including Best Craftsmanship at Oz Comic-Con 2022, 2nd Place at the 2024 WCS Australian Preliminaries and the SFX Award at the Oz Comic-Con Championships 2024.
In 2026, Sparkdos and Nayzeers achieved a major milestone by taking out 1st Place at the WCS Australian Preliminaries, becoming Team Australia 2027 and earning their place at the World Cosplay Summit finals in Japan.
Sparkdos is passionate about sharing the knowledge she’s gained through years of making and competing, and believes cosplay should be accessible, collaborative and celebrated rather than gatekept. She loves helping other cosplayers troubleshoot builds, brainstorm ideas and develop their skills.
