With over 10 years of experience in the world of cosplay, Lil Paws is a passionate and talented creator who brings a wealth of creativity and dedication to every costume she makes. Starting her journey in 2013 with just a $100 sewing machine, limited resources, and a lot of determination, Lil Paws has honed her skills to become a prominent figure in the cosplay community. Her first cosplay, Black Lady from Sailor Moon and Wiseman for her husband, set the stage for an incredible journey that has seen her craft a wide array of iconic characters.
From Winter Belle (Beauty and the Beast) and Ariel (The Little Mermaid) to Misato and Gendo (Neon Genesis Evangelion), and Faye Valentine and Spike (Cowboy Bebop), Lil Paws has embraced a diverse range of characters, including Sailor Moon variations, Cardcaptor Sakura, Spy Family, Macross Frontier, and many more. She’s also delved into prop-making and costume alterations, continuously challenging herself with new and exciting projects.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Lil Paws is passionate about teaching others the art of cosplay. She enjoys sharing her experience, helping fellow cosplayers with problem-solving, and encouraging others to push the boundaries of their own creativity. Her work isn’t just about looking great—it’s about the journey, the learning, and the connections made along the way.
Lil Paws has earned accolades in various cosplay competitions, securing first place in group competitions at Supanova and Kaiga Con, as well as taking home the top prize in the Oz Comic-Con Cosplay Competition. In recent years, she has ventured into solo competitions, including her participation in the prestigious Cosplay Championships.
Beyond the costumes, Lil Paws has made a significant impact in the cosplay community, assisting at cosplay repair tables with Captain Patchit and judging local competitions.
