Jenniwrenn has been part of the cosplay community since 2013, crafting everything from elaborate wigs to detailed foam props with a signature mix of creativity, thriftiness, and experimentation. With over 50 cosplays under their belt, Jenniwrenn has tackled characters from across the anime, gaming, and pop culture multiverse—including fan favourites like Kokushibo (Demon Slayer), Valentino and Alastor (Hazbin Hotel), Bruno Bucciarati (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure), and Bird-Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle. Whether designing an original fabric, making swords out of foam, or wiring up electronics, Jenniwrenn’s approach is all about learning, growing, and helping others do the same.
Cosplay has been both a creative outlet and a personal journey for Jenniwrenn, who began with a lot of anxiety but found confidence through community and craft. Their passion lies in the art of transformation—reimagining characters with sparkle, genderbending flair, historical twists, or full armour builds. Jenniwrenn also loves the backstage energy of cosplay competitions, where shared nerves and last-minute hot glue can turn into lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. A highlight? Winning Best in Show at SMASH! with a friend after hearing a crowd gasp in admiration.
