Holduphuhh is a Perth-based cosplayer who has been crafting costumes and celebrating fandom for over 12 years. Known for her love of detailed construction and sewing techniques, she hand-makes the majority of her costumes herself, from patterning and fabric work to intricate finishing touches like embroidery and hand beading. Some of her most recognisable builds include her handmade Chun Li and Narita Brian cosplays, which showcase both her dedication to craftsmanship and her passion for bringing beloved characters to life.
While she first stepped onto the competition stage in 2020, the pause in events during the pandemic led her to explore another side of the cosplay world: judging. Since then, Holduphuhh has judged competitions at multiple conventions and now works behind the scenes as a Cosplay Coordinator for Perth’s Tokyo Alley, helping support and celebrate the local cosplay community. In 2025 she returned to the stage herself, winning her first competition and marking a full-circle moment in her cosplay journey.
Holduphuhh is passionate about representation and hopes to inspire others by showing that cosplay is for everyone. As a plus-size cosplayer who handcrafts her costumes, she champions the idea that you don’t need awards or perfection to belong in the community, just creativity, passion, and the courage to start. Through her work and appearances, she hopes to encourage new cosplayers to chase their ideas, celebrate their craft, and remember that their dreams in cosplay are never out of reach.
