Hailing from Perth, Giorgia is a veteran of the Australian cosplay scene for over 20 years. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), specializing in costume design and construction for theater and live performances, her achievements include numerous awards in a wide range of fields. With a presence spanning multiple states, including representing Australia in the World Cosplay Summit in 2018 and as a Supanova Cosplay Ambassador, some of her most notable cosplay accolades include being a finalist in the Madman National Cosplay Competition in 2010 and 2011, and a winner in 2012, winning the Hoshi-Con Craftsmanship prize, as well as being a finalist in the OzComicCon competition in 2020 and the overall Cosplay Champion in 2023.
Giorgia uses her extensive skills, knowledge and love of fabrication and sewing to create tutorials and host instructional panels, as well as judge competitions and MC. Using their repertoire of expertise to help others navigate the world of cosplay, as well as mentoring newcomers, she is always happy to talk shop, offer cosplay advice, or have conversations about crafting and fandom!
