Originally from Lake Como, Italy, Edo Cosplays moved to Melbourne in 2017, where he quickly found a home within the Australian cosplay community. Inspired by his favourite video games, he began creating costumes that combined his love of fashion, art and gaming into one creative outlet. Since then, cosplay has become both an artistic passion and a way to challenge himself through increasingly ambitious builds and prop work.

Edo is particularly drawn to crafting armour, garments and detailed props inspired by the worlds and characters he loves most. While he enjoys experimenting with a wide range of materials, foam crafting has become his signature medium thanks to its versatility and transformative possibilities. From gleaming metallic armour to eerie demonic textures, he loves pushing foam beyond expectations and turning simple materials into striking fantasy creations.

For Edo, cosplay is far more than costume-making – it’s a form of artistic expression and storytelling. Whether recreating intricate video game designs or experimenting with new crafting techniques, he approaches every build with creativity, precision and passion.
