Cheshrae is a dedicated and award-winning cosplayer celebrating her 14th year of bringing characters to life. Best known for her detailed armour builds and fantasy-inspired designs, she’s become a standout presence in the cosplay scene with memorable portrayals of Blaidd and Melina from Elden Ring, Lady Maria from Bloodborne, and her original armoured takes on characters like Azula and Loki. Her passion for craftsmanship—particularly foam armour work—has earned her accolades for builds such as Alleria and Alexstrasza from World of Warcraft, and she’s always eager to share the tips and techniques she’s picked up along the way.

Starting as a young teen with a tight budget and a lot of creativity, Cheshrae learned early on how to problem-solve and make the most of what she had. Over the years, cosplay became her voice, her outlet, and her community. While life briefly pulled her away from the scene, recent years have seen her return with renewed energy and a focus on giving back—particularly to the Adelaide cosplay community. In 2024, she was part of the Adelaide Cosplay Spotlight program, where she co-hosted cosplay competitions, participated in panels, and reconnected with the vibrant community that helped shape her. Her favourite part? Hearing how cosplay helps others find confidence, creativity, and joy—just as it did for her.

Whether she’s taking windswept, cinematic photos in full armour or encouraging newcomers at meetups and panels, Cheshrae is driven by a love for connection and self-expression. She champions cosplay in all its forms—from thrifted finds to screen-accurate builds—and aims to be a positive, approachable presence in the convention space. As she looks ahead to even more ambitious projects (including an upcoming build inspired by a Brandon Sanderson novel), Cheshrae remains committed to lifting others up and reminding everyone that there’s space for them in the cosplay world.
