Akeather._ first stepped into cosplay in 2019, attending their very first convention at Oz Comic-Con Brisbane — and it was love at first sight with the community. Starting with closet cosplays, they soon ventured into foam work in 2022 before expanding into sewing and full cosplay builds the following year. Since then, Akeather has brought to life standout characters including Charlie Morningstar (Hazbin Hotel), Riku (Kingdom Hearts), Zack Fair (Final Fantasy), and Percy Jackson, each project helping to refine and expand their skills.

Competition quickly became part of their journey, beginning with smaller conventions before moving into larger-scale contests in 2024. Today, Akeather is a two-time participant in the World Cosplay Summit Australia preliminaries, performing as part of Team Magnets and Contact Cement. With dreams of competing in the Oz Comic-Con Championships of Cosplay, the Crown Championships, and even the Extreme Cosplay Gathering, Akeather continues to push their craft, aiming for new heights in performance, sewing, and construction.
