Benji Bajorek is an award-winning comic creator from Melbourne, Australia, and has been writing, illustrating, and self-publishing comics since 2019. His titles include the pulp adventure series ‘The History of Monsters’—inspired by his childhood obsession with cryptozoology—and the neo-noir horror graphic novel ‘DEADSHEET’, winner of the Gold Ledger Award for Excellence at the 2024 Comic Arts Awards of Australia.
Primarily working in black and white, he is heavily influenced by manga and the black-and-white indie comics of the early ’90s. However, in 2025 he released his first full-colour graphic novel, ‘The Unknown Road’, a fantasy adventure inspired by both his love of Tolkien and European comics.
When Benji grows up, he wants to be Indiana Jones.
