For over a decade, Captain Patch-It has been the unsung hero of the convention floor—armed with hot glue, safety pins, and an unshakeable mission to keep cosplayers con-ready! Since first appearing on the scene in 2014, Captain Patch-It has been a cornerstone of the Australian cosplay community, pioneering the Cosplay Repair movement and lending a helping hand (and sometimes a glue gun) to countless creators in need.
In his 11+ years of service, Captain Patch-It has repaired props, fixed costumes, shared countless techniques, and brightened more conventions than he can count—all while championing the spirit of community and creativity that makes cosplay so special. His favourite moments come from seeing a cosplayer’s day turn around after a successful repair, and he hopes to continue uplifting others, developing his skills, and expanding into cosplay photography to help fellow creators shine even brighter.
