Wombie Cosplays first stepped into the cosplay world back in 2009, but it was in 2022—after a transformative period of life changes—that she truly reignited her passion for the craft. Whether it’s a fully handmade costume or a carefully chosen store-bought look, she believes cosplay should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Known for her prop and accessory work, one of her favourite builds to date is Rakan from League of Legends, a project she crafted entirely from scratch.

Since returning to the scene, Wombie has embraced the lessons that come with the creative process—especially the importance of patience, self-kindness, and doing things your own way. She’s a firm believer that there’s no “right” path to cosplay, and that every method and maker deserves celebration. Beyond the builds, it’s the friendships and connections that truly make cosplay special for her—including the most meaningful one of all: she met her husband, rumbo.cos, through the hobby when she asked to take a photo with him in costume!

Now based in Adelaide, Wombie Cosplays is eager to connect with the local community and grow her circle of cosplay friends. Starting fresh in a new place can be challenging, but for her, conventions and shared fandoms are a source of comfort, joy, and belonging. If you spot her at an event, there’s a good chance her other half is nearby—ready to strike a pose right alongside her.
