A fever dream of glitter, and camp with a capital C. Pompey Fress is an enigma of creativity. They’re a drag/cosplay artist from Naarm/Melbourne taking the scene by storm with their camp looks.
Was interested in cosplay from a young age and now I’ve been part of the community officially for about 4 years. Started out as a way to make friends and share my experience with others and have used those skills as part of my drag. It’s made me stronger and more confident as a performer, and helps when the creative concepts I come up with. Self taught in all of the work that I’ve achieved and constantly growing everyday with the support from the community. I want to be a role model for those who want to use their skills in other areas of performance and highlight how much you can achieve through self development on projects.
Some of those creative adaptions recently include clown variations of Good Omens which was such a delight to complete will be bringing them back for season two. Keen to bring back and adapt some old cosplays such as Gravity Falls and Princess Bride. With my love for clowns I’ll be working on Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus.
