The Kurse of Doktor Krankensteen! An Animal Adventure D&D game. – Level 1
A village paralysed with terror. A monstrosity waiting to be unleashed. Thank the Good Mother you’re there to help! In this adventure, you and your party of brave dogs and cats must take on the warped creations of the eponymous scientist and rescue the unfortunate victims he has so cruelly imprisoned!

Peril in Pinebrook – Level 1
You are from the village of Pinebrook, a small settlement near the base of a mountain range called the Spine of the World. In addition to their normal jobs, the citizens of Pinebrook take turns patrolling the forest and hills around the village, making sure the area is safe for the loggers who work in the forest and the miners who dig in the mountains for iron ore. Today, it’s your turn to patrol the forest with some of your friends. Dangerous creatures sometimes wander the woods, but it has been safe recently. Rumors have spread through the area that a friendly silver dragon recently established a lair in the nearest mountain. The more hostile creatures of the mountains, especially the dangerous ice trolls, haven’t been seen in the past two months. Yesterday, however, a patrol saw large, frosty troll footprints in the forest. Could the rumors of a friendly silver dragon be just rumors after all?

Trouble at the Desert Inn – Level 5

You arrive at a small Inn in the middle of the desert, eerily far away from any town or city. The proprietor seems nice, if a little odd, but she’s distracted by preparations for a party and the anticipated arrival of an esteemed, mysterious, guest. There’s something not quite right here, can you and your fellow adventurers crack the case? Adventure includes: puzzles, traps, investigation and combat.

Beach Episode? – Level 3

It’s tough being an adventurer. Long hours. Stale food. Hazardous working conditions. Time for a holiday at the beach! But why is it so foggy, and everyone so tense? And what are those ships doing on the coastline… This is going to be another adventure, isn’t it? Good thing you packed all your gear.

Dragonbane RPG By Free League: The Sinking Tower. – Level 1

A lone tower, shrouded in mist, rises from the depths. Its emerald glow, a beacon of both beauty and terror, lures the unprepared to a watery grave. A Dragonbane Convention One-Shot designed to challenge and pressure even the most seasoned of players. New player are always welcome, and you will be given guidance in Dragonbane with pre-generated characters provided.

Blood in the Ballroom – Level 3

The party, a group of adventurers and mercenaries trying to start their own private firm, has been hired as additional security for a gathering hosted by the cities biggest winemaker Sir Vino Rose VI. The gathering is thrown into chaos when a body hits the floor, leaving it up to the party to find a way to collect their paycheck and to salvage their first big job. Mostly RP, with some puzzles and combat depending on the parties choices.

Escape from Aqueare! – Level 3
Being adventurers and swords for hire can take you to exotic places and make you rich, but this time a misadventure took you to a jail cell in an old prison. the only sign of day or night is the change of guard’s shifts and quickly days became months. Aqueare, a city veiled in secrets, cradles this ancient jail. Its walls, etched with the despair of countless souls, enclose you. Escape? Many have tried, their dreams shattered against unforgiving stone. Bruised, broken, or worse, they remain silent witnesses to the prison’s malevolence. But tonight, the very air quivers. The walls tremble as if awakening from a long slumber. Water seeps through cracks, and eerie echoes dance down the stone corridors. Rats scuttle, bugs flee—creatures attuned to the prison’s pulse. Something dark stirs, a shadow that defies reason…. something dark must be happening. An old prisoner badly injured from a failed break attempt, his voice rasps, but determination glimmers. “Listen,” he croaks, “there’s a way out. A path woven in shadows, guarded by forgotten gods.”. The town of Phandalin, nestled in the foothills to the east of the Sword Mountains, continues to grow since being
rebuilt after the devastation wrought by rampaging orc hordes. It recently survived violent gang activity, drow
machinations, and even the attention of a green dragon. But can it withstand a new threat, bizarre but no less
perilous: the fame brought by a visit from none other than loremaster Volothamp Geddarm? 

Lost & Found – Level 3

Princess Helena has been practising on this tattered block of wood for too long now! Its up to you to search the dusty storage rooms of King Henry’s castle in order to find his Grand Lute, an instrument truly worthy of Helena’s grace and elegance. I hear the fortress could use a little cleaning anyways… Beginner friendly adventure with a balance of roleplay and combat encounters

The Lost Library – Level 4

Visions of the Mithril King appear to us through the thinning veil, prophesizing cataclysmic visions. “The Lost Library” is a short adventure that takes place near the mouth of an arcane meteor crater known as the Chaos Scar. Through the course of the adventure, you will have to navigate your own personal goals while encountering a Kobold tribe that has recently unearthed an ancient arcane library. You will have the opportunity to explore the library, uncovering the secrets within and their shrouded connection to an ancient mythical beast.

Campaign descriptions

Chaos in Greenacres. Level 1 home brew D&D 5e adventure. This game will be Run on Digital maps from Arkenforge.

You hail from a tiny village called Dustbowl. The growing season hasn’t been kind and your community is in real danger of starvation. As the most competent and healthiest of the village, you and your allies have been tasked with travelling to the closest town to earn gold. Taking your few possessions, and the bulk of the remaining food, you set out, for Greenacres. Upon arrival, you notice there is also a very conspicuous humanoid, sitting atop a merchant wagon, who is eyeing you all off with an excited expression on their face… As you peruse the job board, the mysterious merchant approaches you and offers you something to help you in your tasks.

The Stygian Gambit. A Level 2 Adventure From the Keys of the Golden Vault.

At the Afterlife Casino, a three-dragon ante tournament called the Grand Minauros Invitational awards one winner with a sizable purse and a golden erinyes statuette. Youre Hired by a former gambler with a score to settle, to steal the statuette as well as gold from the casino’s vault before the tournament ends and the winner is declared. You must case the casino, steal what you came for, and escape.

We are Savage Bear Podcast; an Australian podcast playing through tabletop role playing games. We want to show you the wide world of TTRPG’s; and all levels of experience are welcome! Whether as veterans of the community, or as fresh adventures who have never played before, come take on the role of a character set on an epic quest or tale, roll successes and failures amongst your peers, and be ready for whatever our friendly Game Masters have in store for you!

We will be running games of Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Paranoia and Alien RPG in the tabletop RPG section of the Oz Comic-Con Canberra and Sydney on both Saturday & Sunday all day. Call of Cthulhu is a game about secrets, mysteries, and horror. Playing the role of steadfast investigators, teams of characters travel to strange and dangerous places, uncover foul plots, and stand against the terrors of the night.

Paranoia is set inside Alpha Complex, a supposed utopia run by an all-seeing all-knowing Friend Computer. Take on the role of an infrared clearance clone with the job of keeping everything clean in the middle of a full on terrorist threat!

Hope’s Last Day” is a one shot cinematic scenario for the Alien RPG, based on the classic sci-fi horror movie Aliens. You are one of the few survivors of Hadley’s Hope, a remote colony on the planet LV-426, where something stirs beneath the facility.

Dawn of Worlds Community Map Drawing – No time limit –

Dawn of Worlds is a game where a group of players take the role of gods creating a fantasy world. The game begins with a basic map drawn on a large piece of paper and one player is assigned to record the changes to the map as the game progresses. Each turn players roll dice to gain points and spend those points to alter the landscape, make creatures or order those creatures to take actions such as build cities or armies.

What’s Jumpstart?
Jumpstart is a fun, unique way to pick up and play Magic. By combining any two Jumpstart booster packs, you’ll create your own 40-card themed deck—and you’re ready to go. Skip the deck building and jump right into playing games of Magic. It’s a perfect way to quickly learn and play the game, or to teach new players!

How does Jumpstart work?
Easy! Just choose any two Jumpstart booster packs, shuffle them together, and voila! You just made a new deck. Find a worthy opponent and start playing.

What’s in each Jumpstart booster?
Each Jumpstart booster pack has 20 cards, including lands, centered around a randomized theme. Mix and match from two booster packs to find and create some hilarious combos.
