Hello! My name is Rachelle, also known as Sea.shellcosplay on Instagram and TikTok. I have been cosplaying since 2016, and it has been a passion of mine for the past eight years. I love creating content on TikTok and Instagram, where I share my love for cosplay. From learning how to style wigs and experimenting with different makeup techniques to body painting, prop making, and even teaching myself how to sew, I enjoy every aspect of cosplay. My first cosplay creation was the Tinwoman for a Wizard of Oz group cosplay in 2022, and I also made a Cruella De Vil-inspired dress for the Fraserpop Ball in 2023.

Traveling to conventions around Queensland has been a highlight of my cosplay journey. I’ve had the honor of guesting at Capricon in 2023, participating in a panel, and at the Collectors Market in 2023, where I spoke about social media, and this year, I was part of a princess panel. I have been apart of the Cosplay Collective at Fraserpop in 2023 and 2024. Additionally, I appeared on an episode of the New Game Panel, a web series focused on pop culture. I’m proud to be part of the incredible team at AusCos Magazine as a social media coordinator.

I absolutely love this cosplay community and can’t picture myself doing anything else with my life, as the people in the community are all such an inspiration to keep pushing myself to learn new skills. My favorite part of cosplay is the people I meet along the way. Making new friends, catching up with old ones, laughing, having fun, and creating unforgettable memories are what make this hobby truly special. One of my aspirations is to share the joy and excitement of cosplay with everyone, regardless of mine or their skill level. I hope to be a positive influence in the cosplay community.
