Born in Arkansas to a graphic artist and set designer, Corin Nemec was inspired to become an actor after watching the film The Goonies – for which his father had done the art direction.
Corin’s first major film role saw him star as Jeff Bridges’ son in the Francis Ford Coppola film Tucker: The Man and His Dream , in 1988. He went on to appear in several shows, and earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Special for his portrayal of Steven Stayner in I Know My First Name Is Steven .
From 1990 to 1993, Corin starred in TV series Parker Lewis Can’t Lose and portrayed Harold Lauder in the 1993 TV adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand. He has gone on to guest star in TV shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Tales from the Crypt, Smallville, CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Ghost Whisperer . More recently, he appeared on Stargate SG-1 as Jonas Quinn, as well as on Supernatural as hunter Christian Campbell – cousin of Sam and Dean Winchester.
In 2018 Corin will feature in the film adaptation of horror graphic novel, Rottentail. Starring in the titular role of Peter Cotton/Rottentail, Corin portrays a fertility researcher who is bitten by a mutant test bunny and transforms into a murderous half man/half rabbit, hellbent on revenge.
Corin is also a passionate graffiti artist whose works can be seen everywhere from the streets of Los Angeles to Melbourne and Tel Aviv.
